McK Williams rejoined the University of Oklahoma Athletics staff in March 2011 as Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Operations after four years at Rutgers University.
 
In this position, Williams leads all ticket operations and works in conjunction with the Sooner Club and Marketing on all ticket-related fundraising, sales and promotional strategies.
 
In addition, he works with the Lloyd Noble Center staff to direct ticket operations for all Lloyd Noble Center events.
 
Williams works closely with the Sooner Club, Marketing, Communications, Events & Facilities as well as the coaches and teams to ensure that all of the department's events and programs are well-conducted to enhance each fan's experience with Oklahoma athletics. He also works with various offices around the OU campus including the President's Office, Regents' Office and the University Development Office to ensure that the needs of the campus are being met.
 
At Rutgers, Williams served as Associate Athletics Director for Development and Ticket Operations. He integrated the philosophies of the ticket office and development office to create a single unit to better serve the Rutgers fans. He helped increase Rutgers' online presence by redesigning the ticket website and implemented new online initiatives.
 
He also led the implementation of Access Management, a digital ticketing system that allows for the scanning of all tickets for a more efficient and secure ticketing process. This led to the creation of new online student ticket processes as well as ticket account management capabilities for all Rutgers ticket holders. As a result of these online initiatives, Rutgers was a finalist for the 2008 Paciolan Star of the Year Award.
 

 

During his time at Rutgers he led the sales effort for Rutgers' first premium seating opportunity at Rutgers Stadium, the Audi Rutgers Club, along with Courtside Seating at the Rutgers Athletics Center. He also redesigned the Priority Seating, Parking and Points Programs which helped lead to record setting annual gifts/pledges to Rutgers Athletics which increased from $10 million to $17.9 million.
 
In his previous stint with OU, Williams worked in the ticket office for seven years in various roles, his last as Associate Director of Ticket Operations until August of 2007.
 
In that role, his main focus is on the external operations within the Athletics Ticket Office directing ticket operations at all of OU's Athletics events. He directed ticket operations and served on host committees when OU has hosted Big 12 Gymnastics, Tennis and Wrestling Championships as well as NCAA Gymnastics, Tennis, Women's Basketball and Wrestling Championships.
 
He assisted in the creation of the Priority Point System which both offices use to assign tickets for all events. Prior to the 2003 footballs season, he assisted in the seating of and additional 8,000 donor seats.
 
A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Williams received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration while majoring in Marketing. During his initial time at OU, he received his master's in Heath and Sport Sciences with an emphasis in Sport Management from the University of Oklahoma.
 
Williams and his wife, Renee who is an OU graduate, reside in Norman with their daughter, Peyton and son, Grayson.
