Went 1-2 at the 2013 NCAA Championships in Des Moines with a first round victory against Utah Valley's No. 20 Josh Wilson...Fell out of NCAA Championship competition with a second-round wrestlebacks loss to Edinboro's No. 15 David Habat...A 2013 NCAA At-Large qualifier at 149 pounds...Finished third at the Big 12 Championship (149) with a 7-2 decision over WVU's George Scheffel...Won his fourth-straight bout after he tallied his fifth tech fall of the season, downing WVU's Tim Wheeling 17-0 in 5:57...Finished fifth at the 2012 Midlands Championships after he defeated Grajales with a 10-2 major decision, the first of the 2012-13 season...Notched his first fall of his redshirt junior campaign after he pinned Lehigh's Mitch Minotti in 6:27 at the Midlands Championships...One of two Sooners to go undefeated at the 2012 Journeymen/Asics Northeast Duals alongside fellow redshirt junior Kendric Maple...Was one of five Sooners to take home titles at the Brockport/Oklahoma Invitational after he claimed the 149-pound title en route to Oklahoma's 14th straight victory at the annual event...Opened the 2012 season at the NWCA All-Star Classic where he faced the nation's No. 2 149-pounder, Jason Chamberlain of Boise State, but fell in a 6-3 decision.
AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2011-12):
Was named an All-American after he went 3-3 at NCAAs as an automatic qualifier ... Opened NCAA action upsetting Binghamton's fourth-seeded Donald Vinson, 9-4 ... Went 23-13 on the year where he tallied four pins, five technical falls and seven major decision wins ... Finished third at the 2012 Big 12 Championships following a technical fall victory over ISU's Joe Cozart ... Claimed fourth at the Midlands Champion¬ships after posting a 5-2 record ... Runner-up at the Brockport/Oklahoma Gold Classic after going 2-1.
AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2010-11):
Finished the year with an 8-6 record ... Started the first three duals of the year for OU at 149 pounds, where he went 2-1 ... His only dual loss came to Oklahoma State's Jamal Parks on Dec. 12, 5-2 ... Competed in the Brockport/Oklahoma Gold Classic (0-2), Cliff Keen Invitational (2-1), and Midlands (5-2) tournaments.
