Claimed the 133-pound crown at the NCAA Championships, defeating Iowa’s No. 3 seed Cory Clark by an 11-8 decision … Oklahoma’s 67th individual champion in program history … Earned All-America honors for the third time, the 26th Sooner to reach that milestone that many times … Selected as No. 13 seed for NCAA Championships, where he went 5-0 … Defeated four opponents seeded higher than him en route to the NCAA title, including No. 4 Johnni DiJulius (Ohio State), No. 12 George DiCamillo (Virginia), No. 1 Chris Dardanes (Minnesota) and Clark (Iowa) … Handed Dardanes his first loss of season in NCAA semifinals, a 15-3 major decision … Finished season with a 22-1 record, including a 12-1 mark in dual competition … Started season 11-0 before falling to Iowa State’s Earl Hall … Avenged that loss by defeating Hall in the Big 12 Championship by decision, 10-5, to take his first conference title … Returned to Oklahoma lineup on Jan. 18 after missing about five weeks with an injury … Took the 133-pound title at the Brockport/Oklahoma Invitational (was named Most Outstanding Wrestler), helping OU to its 16th straight team victory at the event … Led the team with 10 major decisions and tied for first with four technical falls … Ranked within the top five by InterMat all season.

Became a two-time All-American with a 13-2 major decision of Michigan’s Rosario Bruno … 2014 NCAA Division I Championships automatic qualifier at 133 pounds … Finished eighth overall at the NCAA Championships after falling to Central Michigan’s No. 12 seed Joe Roth by decision, 8-6 … Posted a 3-3 record at NCAAs … Received the No. 13 seed at NCAA Championships in Oklahoma City … Grabbed a runner-up finish at Big 12 Championship in Norman after he claimed a 14-1 major decision over West Virginia’s Nathan Pennesi then fell by decision, 8-1, to OSU’s Jon Morrison in the championship match … Defeated Morrison for the first time in seven career attempts by fall in 2:45 in the second round of NCAAs … Won weight class at Brockport/Oklahoma Invitational as OU claimed the team title for the 15th straight year … Took second at 133 pounds at the prestigious Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, helping the Sooners to a team victory at the event … Finished with a 23-10 record for the season, including an 11-5 dual record … Opened season with eight straight wins, six of which came via technical falls … Named to Academic All-Big 12 First Team … Recorded three decisions, five major decisions, 11 technical falls and four falls.

Secured the first All-America honors of his career with a 14-4 major decision over Penn State's No. 11 Jordan Conaway....Finished seventh overall in his first NCAA Wrestling Championships after he topped Missouri's No. 7 Nathan McCormick with a 15-10, come-from-behind decision...Finished the first NCAA Championship wrestling appearance of his career with a 4-2 record...A 2013 NCAA Division I Automatic qualifier at 133 pounds...Finished his redshirt freshman year with a runner-up finish at the Big 12 Championship after he claimed a 13-4 major decision over ISU's John Meeks and then fell with a 6-2 decision to OSU's Jon Morrison in the championship bout...Topped his second ranked opponent of the season after he totaled a 12-4 major decision over Virginia Tech's No. 19 Erik Spjut...Has dropped four decisions on the year - three of which were to top-25 foes - against No. 3 Scotti Sentes of Central Michigan (7-4 decision), No. 8 Jon Morrison of OSU (9-4 decision) and No. 15 Nick Arajau of Cornell (0:34 fall)...Clinched OU's dual victory over Iowa State when he topped John Meeks with a 6-2 decision in the final bout of the night...Went undefeated at the Brockport/Oklahoma Invitational en route to Oklahoma's 14th straight victory.
