NORMAN –  Oklahoma senior center Vionise Pierre-Louis earned her third Big 12 Player of the Week award this season after guiding the Sooners to wins over Iowa State and Texas Tech, the league office announced on Monday.

Pierre-Louis averaged 21.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 5.0 blocks and 2.0 steals per game in OU’s home victories last week. The senior posted a .619 field goal percentage and recorded double-doubles in both contests.

Against Iowa State, Pierre-Louis scored 19 of her 23 points in the second half to help OU to a 80-71 victory over the Cyclones. The Lake Worth, Fla., native also recorded 11 rebounds and four blocks, while shooting 8-of-11 from the field.

The senior collected her third straight double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds versus Texas Tech on Saturday. She also logged a season-high six blocks and a career-best four steals against the Lady Raiders.

Pierre-Louis leads the Big 12 with 2.7 blocked shots per game this season and is 10th nationally with a .612 field goal percentage. In the last 10 games, the senior has picked up six double-doubles while scoring in double figures in 15 straight contests.

Pierre-Louis is the first Sooner to win Big 12 Player of the Week honors three times in one season since 2011, when Danielle Robinson accomplished the feat.

The Sooners wrap up their Big 12 slate on Tuesday as OU travels to face No. 6/8 Texas in Austin, Texas. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. CT on Fox Sports 1.
