NORMAN – A mini-plan for the 2018 University of Oklahoma baseball season are available now through the athletic ticket office. The ticket plan covers a general admission seat at six games at L. Dale Mitchell Park for just $42. Season tickets, which begin at $180, and mini-plans can be purchased at SoonerSports.com or by calling 405-325-2424 or 1-800-456-GoOU.
This plan includes Friday games against Alabama (March 2), Texas A&M Corpus Christi (March 9), West Virginia (March 23), Baylor (March 30) and Kansas State (May 4) plus the Sooners’ Saturday contest against Texas (April 14). Oklahoma’s series with the Crimson Tide marks the first match-up between the two programs since 2002. The Sooners picked up series wins over West Virginia, Baylor and Kansas State in each of the last two seasons. When OU last hosted Texas in 2016, the Sooners claimed a home series from the Longhorns for the first time since 1998.
Applications for the Bedlam baseball series will be sent in January to season ticket holders who returned their initial request application during the renewal period. Additional tickets will be available at a later date.
Season one of the Skip Johnson era begins with opening day, Feb. 16 against Indiana in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Sooners then host Abilene Christian on Feb. 21 for their home opener. Oklahoma plays 33 games at home this season, including 25 home games over a 27-game stretch through the end of March. Single-game tickets are scheduled to go on sale on Jan. 31.
