NORMAN — Student tickets for the upcoming Oklahoma men’s basketball season will go on sale Monday, Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. Priced at $60, student tickets include admission into all 15 regular season home games at Lloyd Noble Center and membership in the men’s basketball student section “The BoomSquad”.
Tickets can be purchased here.
Men's basketball student season tickets will be loaded onto students' Sooner One Cards. Students will swipe their Sooner One Card at LNC's lower north entrance to gain entry to the building beginning at least 90 minutes prior to tip-off. Seating is general admission in the student section. Students will receive information from the OU ticket office on claiming purchased tickets at a later time.
The Sooners open the 2017-18 season with a home exhibition contest against East Central on Nov. 8, followed by the regular-season opener on Nov. 12 against Omaha. Free t-shirts will be distributed to all BoomSquad members in attendance at both games.
OU will host seven non-conference matchups, highlighted by a meeting with 2017 NCAA Tournament participant Northwestern on Dec. 22. In conference play, the Sooners face all nine Big 12 opponents at home – seven of which qualified for the postseason in 2017 – beginning with Oklahoma State on Jan. 3.
Last season, Oklahoma was paced by will-be sophomore guard Kameron McGusty – a Big 12 honorable mention selection and member of the Big 12 All Newcomer team. McGusty is joined by a returning young core featuring junior guards Christian James and Rashard Odomes, junior forward Jamuni McNeace and senior forward Khadeem Lattin. OU also adds a top-25 recruiting class, highlighted by five star point guard Trae Young from Norman North High School.
