NORMAN – The Oklahoma women’s tennis team is back in action Thursday at the Colorado Invitational tournament hosted by the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Seniors Malene Stripp, Christiana Brigante and Simran Sethi and newcomer Nina Jabrzemski will represent the Sooners at the tournament, whose field also includes New Mexico State and New Mexico.

During last week’s opener, the Sooners traveled to Houston for the Rice Invitational. Brigante led the way for Oklahoma, posting a 2-1 record to advance to the quarterfinal of her respective draw.

The Colorado Invitational opens with doubles play at 4:30 p.m. CT. The Sooners will play back-to-back singles rounds on Friday and Saturday before concluding the event with more doubles action Sunday.
