NORMAN – The 2017 WNBA Playoffs begin Wednesday with former Oklahoma stars Courtney Paris and Danielle Robinson looking to guide their respective teams to a league championship.

In round one of the WNBA Playoffs, Paris and the Dallas Wings will travel to the Washington Mystics at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN2, while Robinson and the Phoenix Mercury will follow in the nightcap by hosting the Seattle Storm at 9 p.m. CT on ESPN2. Fans can also watch online via the WatchESPN app.

Both games are single elimination with the winner advancing to round two.

Paris, the first-ever four-time AP and USBWA All-American, helped Dallas earn the No. 7 seed in the postseason after the Wings finished the regular season with a 16-18 overall record. Paris has played in 20 games and is averaging 4.2 points and 3.7 rebounds per contest.

After missing all of last season with an Achilles injury, Robinson has rebounded to help Phoenix claim the No. 5 seed heading into the postseason. As the Mercury’s point guard, Robinson has averaged 6.9 points and 3.4 assists per game this year.
