TULSA, Okla. - Thursday night's Bedlam Series opener between No. 20 University of Oklahoma baseball and Oklahoma State at ONEOK Field was rained out. The Sooners and Cowboys will play a Friday doubleheader beginning at 3:05 p.m. with tickets from the Tulsa game good for Friday or Saturday games played in OKC.
The game was immediately delayed due to the threat of storms ahead of a scheduled first pitch of 7:05 p.m. Lightning entered the area at approximately 7:45 and was followed by heavy rain around 8:30.
The series will pick up Friday with a doubleheader at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City. Game one is set for a 3:05 first pitch with game two to follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Tickets from Thursday's series opener in Tulsa can be exchanged at the Bricktown Ballpark box office for reserved seats to one or both of Friday's games or Saturday's series finale. Gates will open at 2:30 p.m. Fans holding tickets to Friday's originally scheduled 7:05 p.m. game can use their ticket for admission to both games of the doubleheader.
For fans unable to attend the games in OKC, Tulsa Drillers management has announced that any tickets for Thursday's Bedlam game can also be redeemed for any Drillers regular season game played at ONEOK Field this year. Those exchanges can be made at the ONEOK Field Ticket Office.
