NORMAN – The Oklahoma women’s tennis team returns to action this weekend at the ITA Central Region Championships, hosted by the University of Iowa.

The tournament field includes over 160 players from 26 schools. The competition features a qualifying and a main draw in singles, and one draw of doubles.

In singles, Sooners Kianah Motosono, Alli Hodges, Nina Jabrzemski and Skyler Miller will represent OU in the qualifying draw. Martina Capurro, Camila Romero, Jasmine Asghar, Ivana Corley and Laura Rico have received entries into the main draw. The ITA Central Region Championships will mark Rico and Motosono's debut as Sooners after joining the roster in August.

OU will also be well-represented in the doubles bracket, with four teams set to compete. Rico and Motosono will pair up, as will Capurro and Romero; Miller and Hodges; and Corley and Asghar, who made a run to the qualifying draw at the ITA All-American in their last competition.

Livestreaming will be available for the tournament. For more information on the ITA Central Region Championships, visit the tournament hub.
