OU to Face LSU in Big 12/SEC Challenge

NORMAN – Oklahoma women’s basketball will host LSU in the 2019 Big 12/SEC Challenge as both conferences unveiled the event’s 10-game slate on Monday.

The matchup on Dec. 7 will make the first meeting between the Sooners and Tigers. The format features five home games on campus sites for each conference. Teams will not face the same opponent twice.

In 2019, games will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 4 and conclude on Sunday, Dec. 8. Exact times and television designations will be released when available.

The inaugural challenge was held in 2014. The 10-team format began in 2016. For the past two seasons, the two conferences split the challenge with a 5-5 mark.

Oklahoma’s full non-conference schedule will be released at a later date.
