Delanie Gourley enters her first season as a graduate assistant for Oklahoma in 2019.
A four-year letterwinner at Florida from 2014-17, Gourley earned All-America First-Team, All-Southeast Region First-Team and All-SEC First-Team honors in both her junior and senior seasons. The left-handed pitcher was named to the WCWS All-Tournament Team in 2017 and a top-10 finalist for 2016 USA Softball Player of the Year.
A native of Lakeside, Calif., Gourley recorded a 0.71 ERA in 2017 with a 22-4 record over 176.1 innings pitched. During her junior campaign, Gourley registered a 19-4 record with a team-high 224 strikeouts and a 0.80 ERA in 157.2 innings of work.
Gourley was selected as the No. 12 overall pick in the 2017 NPF College Draft by the Scrap Yard Dawgs before being traded to the Texas Charge. She joined the USSSA Pride in 2018, helping her team win the Cowles Cup this summer.
Gourley also brings a wealth of experience on the international stage, playing with Team USA from 2016-18. In 2018, she represented the Red, White and Blue at the Japan All-Star Series and the USA Softball International Cup.
Gourley graduated from Florida in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in intercollegiate athletics administration.
