NORMAN – Oklahoma baseball will ramp up its fall workouts this year with the addition of home exhibition games against Arkansas and Dallas Baptist, head coach Skip Johnson announced today.

The Sooners, who begin fall practice on Sept. 16, will play host to 2018 national runner-up Arkansas on Sept. 22 at noon at L. Dale Mitchell Park. Fans holding a ticket to OU’s football game against Army that evening will receive free admission to the baseball contest. Fans without a football ticket can gain admission to baseball for $5.

OU will then face Dallas Baptist at L. Dale Mitchell Park on Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. Admission will be $5 for all.

Fall workouts will run through the end of October. All OU fall practices take place at L. Dale Mitchell Park and are open to the public.

Oklahoma is entering its second year under the direction of Skip Johnson. Last season the Sooners compiled a 38-25 record (14-10 Big 12) and advanced to the final round of the Tallahassee Regional. OU returns 16 players from that squad and welcomes 24 newcomers for 2019.
