The 2018 UWW Men’s Junior Nationals in freestyle and Greco-Roman qualifies student-athletes for the UWW Junior World Team Trials. The freestyle world team trials will be held in Rochester, Minn., from May 18-20, while the Greco-Roman team trials will be in Indianapolis on June 8.

"I think it's going to be fun," Waddell said. "We've got five guys going and we've got some pretty high expectations. We should have a couple guys in the finals and hopefully a few winners."

Season award winners included senior Yoanse Mejias (Most Outstanding Wrestler and Jimmy White Award), senior Dawaylon Barnes (Most Improved Wrestler), Jakob Woodley (Most Outstanding Freshman) and Mike Longo (Warrior Award).
