With the close of the 2017-18 season, the Sooners making their 19th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament, which ranks as the fifth-longest active streak among Division I teams.
Five players averaged scoring in double figures led by Vionise Pierre-Louis' 15.9 points per contest. OU's freshman duo of Ana Llanusa and Shaina Pellington became the first pair of teammates to lead Big 12 freshman in scoring. Pierre-Louis along with Maddie Manning and Gabbi Ortiz also joined OU's 1,000-point scoring club.

The Sooners earned their 19th straight NCAA Tournament bid during the 2017-18 season, advancing to the second round. OU is one of nine Division I men's or women's basketball teams to make every NCAA Tournament since 2000 (Men: Duke, Gonzaga, Michigan State, Kansas; Women: Tennesseee, Stanford, Connecticut, Notre Dame, Oklahoma).
From beyond the arc, the Sooners hit 197 3-pointers as a team this season. OU's total ranks as the 10th-most 3-pointers by a team in school history. It is the seventh time in the last eight years that OU has made at least 195 treys in one season.
OU ranked 32nd in the country averaging 76.0 points per game. It was the most points scored per game by an OU team since the 2013-14 season. The Sooners have finished in the top 35 in scoring offense 11 times in the last 12 years.
The Sooners finished 40th in the country and fifth in the Big 12 with a .441 field goal percentage. Much of that production came from Vionise Pierre-Louis, who ranked second in the conference and 10th nationally with a .611 shooting percentage.
OU continued to be one of the nation's best teams at protecting the rim, ranking 40th in the nation in blocked shots per game (4.6). The Sooners recorded 142 blocks in the 2017-18 season, which ranks sixth in OU single-season history. Over the last two years, the Sooners have blocked 342 shots -- the second-most in back-to-back seasons in school history.
The Sooners hit 15 3-pointers against New Mexico on Dec. 16, the third-most in a single game during the Sherri Coale era. OU's 38 3-point attempts against the Lobos tied the school record.
The Sooners picked up double-digit victories in Big 12 play for the 12th time in the last 13 years, tying for third place with a 11-7 mark against league foes.
Vionise Pierre-Louis concluded her career 19th in scoring at OU with 1,301 career points. Pierre-Louis also ranked in the top 10 in program history in mulitple statistcal categories: blocks (third/221); field goal percentage (fourth/.562); free throw attempts (eighth/488); total rebounds (ninth/801); free throws made (ninth/337).
Gabbi Ortiz was one of the most proflic 3-point shooter in the nation during the 2017-18 season, knocking down 84 triples. Ortiz's 84 3-pointers rank seventh in OU single-season history and she led the Big 12 with 2.7 3-pointrs made per game. The Racine, Wis., native finished her career third at Oklahoma with 214 career 3-pointers, tied for third with a career .839 free throw percentage, sixth with 383 assists and 31st with 1,171 points.
Maddie Manning scored her 1,000th career point on Dec. 31 at Iowa State, 20 miles from her hometown of Ankeny, Iowa. Manning finished her career with 1,229 points at OU, which ranks 21st all-time in school history. Manning also finished 10th in school history with a .777 career free throw percentage and appeared in 130 games.
Gabbi Ortiz averaged 36.5 minutes per game this season, which is tied for third in OU single-season history. Ortiz led the Big 12 in minutes per game and finished her OU career 10th in program history with 1,131 minutes played. She played 40 minutes or more 19 times at Oklahoma.
Shaina Pellington became the seventh OU player to win Big 12 Freshman of the Year honors. Pellington ranked second on the team with 13.1 points per game and a .492 field goal percentage. OU leads the Big 12 with seven Big 12 Freshman of the Year winners. Pellington also had seven games with 20-plus points, a team high.
Ana Llanusa scored a career-high 27 points twice during the 2017-18 season. Both performances came in wins over ranked opponents at home (No. 16 USF and No. 21 West Virginia). Llanusa's two 27-point performances are tied for the 10th-most points scored by an OU freshman in school history in a single game. The Choctaw, Okla., native also hit 45 3-pointers, the third-most in school history by a freshman in one season.
Gileysa Penzo recorded 10 assists or more in two games during the 2017-18 season, including a career-high 11 dimes against New Mexico on Dec. 16. Penzo became the first Sooner to have two 10-plus assists games in one season since Morgan Hook accomplished the feat in 2013-14.
Vionise Pierre-Louis' .562 field goal percentage ranks third all-time at OU and is the second-best mark by a player during the Sherri Coale era.
