NORMAN – The Oklahoma rowing team stayed at No. 20 in this week’s CRCA/US Coaches Rankings after a perfect weekend at the Big 12 Double Dual in Norfolk, Va.
OU competed in seven races, winning each one at the regatta.
The Sooners’ 1V8 placed first in both of its races Saturday, defeating Old Dominion and West Virginia with a pair of sub-seven-minute times. The 2V8 finished with times of 7:00.136 and 7:12.597 in two open-water victories.

The 3V8 made its season debut with an open-water victory, finishing with a time of 7:22.800.
The Sooners, who received 40 points in this week’s poll, are joined by No. 3 Texas as the only two teams in the Big 12 in the top 20.
OU heads to Clemson Invitational this weekend, a two-day regatta on April 14 and 15 in Clemson, S.C. The 21-team field includes seven other ranked programs.
"We are looking forward to seeing some good competition," head coach Leeanne Crain said. "We're still doing everything we can each week to find more speed in the second half of the season."
