NORMAN – First-year University of Oklahoma volleyball coach Lindsey Gray-Walton announced her team’s spring season schedule on Thursday morning. The Sooners have set up two tournament dates, including a home series on Saturday, April 21.
Oklahoma hits the road for its first competition date in Kansas City, Mo. on April 14. The Sooners take on co-hosts UMKC and Kansas State.
Back home, Oklahoma welcomes Wichita State, Arkansas and Central Oklahoma to McCasland Field House on April 21. Start times for all matches will be determined at a later date and admission is free.
The Sooners, who began spring practice on March 5, return 10 letterwinners from last season, including senior outside hitter Alyssa Enneking (League City, Texas); an All-Big 12 First Team selection. Oklahoma also brought in a pair of transfers for the 2018 spring semester. Sophomore setter Kylee McLaughlin (Carrollton, Texas) was the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year at Oregon State last fall and sophomore defensive specialist Keyton Kinley (Lexington, Ky.) played 19 matches on the back row for Tennessee in 2017.
