NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department will celebrate the life and impact of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during a special program to be held Monday, Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place at Holmberg Hall inside OU's Reynolds Performing Arts Center on the Norman campus.
As part of OU's commitment to enhancing community engagement with its student-athletes, the annual event aims to educate and inspire attendees, as well as celebrate and reflect on the work and significance of Dr. King.
OU student-athletes have been integral in creating the themes for this year's program, identifying words that they feel represent Dr. King's vision. Those words will be artistically demonstrated thru a variety of performances throughout the evening.
Doors will open at 7 p.m.
