NORMAN – The University of Oklahoma men’s gymnastics team will hold its annual Crimson and Cream intrasquad scrimmage at noon CT on Saturday at the Sam Viersen Gymnastics Center. Admission is free and open to the public.

Members of the 2017-18 Sooners will compete against each other on all six events, giving OU fans a sneak peek of new routines that the preseason No.1-ranked squad will use as it seeks to defend its 2015, 2016 and 2017 national titles.

From its 2017 national championship team, the Sooners return junior Yul Moldauer, who won a pair of individual national titles in 2017 on floor and rings. Moldauer earned six All-America honors last season, just missing out on pommel horse. All-Americans Hunter Justus (SR, PB), Reese Rickett (SR) and Genki Suzuki (HB) will also return in 2018 for Oklahoma.

Pizza will be available for the first 100 fans to arrive and immediately following the scrimmage, fans can meet the student-athletes who will be available for autographs.

Oklahoma kicks off its 2018 campaign in Colorado Springs, Colo. with a meet against Air Force on Jan. 20. The home opener is set for Saturday, Feb. 3 against Nebraska and Stanford.

Season tickets for the Sooners home slate are on sale now. Fans can purchase tickets by calling the University of Oklahoma Ticket Office at (405) 325-2424 or toll free at (800) 456-GoOU. Tickets can also be ordered online by visiting SoonerSports.com.
