FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Oklahoma women's basketball opened its three-game road swing with a dominating performance, earning a 78-46 victory over Colorado State inside Moby Arena on Tuesday.

OU's defense held the Rams (2-2) to a season-low .304 field goal percentage and four 3-pointers as the Sooners earned the 32-point road win. Senior Gabbi Ortiz led the Sooners (3-1) with 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting, tying her career high with six treys as the Racine, Wis., native led four OU players in double figures.

The Sooners used a 21-2 run over the span of two quarters to build their advantage. Ortiz caught fire from deep, hitting four of her six triples to open the second half. The senior has made at least five 3-pointers in back-to-back games becoming the first Sooner since Aaryn Ellenberg in 2013 to accomplish that feat.

Maddie Manning added 13 points to pick up her ninth straight game in doubles figures dating back to last season. Manning finished 3-of-6 from the field with two treys, while recording five rebounds and two assists.

Freshman Shaina Pellington provided 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting off the bench along with four assists, while freshman Ana Llanusa recorded 11 points, six rebounds and two steals in 24 minutes of action.

The Sooners built a 31-19 haltime lead by holding the Rams to just two points over the final 7:54 of the second quarter. Pellington made her mark in the first half by scoring seven points, while LaNesia Williams added six.

In the second half, OU shot .552 (16-29) from the field and hit six 3-pointers over the final two quarters to pull away. OU scored on its first four possesions of the second half as Ortiz drilled back-to-back treys to spark the Sooners.

For the second consecutive game, the Sooners knocked down 10-plus 3-pointers, finishing 11-of-27 (.407) from beyond the arc. OU outrebounded the Rams, 43-30, and outscored CSU's bench by a 30-19 margin.

The Sooners continue their road swing on Saturday as they face No. 10 Oregon in the PK80 Invitational in Eugene, Ore. Tip-off is set for 4:30 p.m. CT and the game will be televised on thePac 12 Network.
