NORMAN – Oklahoma men’s golf’s Brad Dalke, Blaine Hale and Grant Hirschman will all compete at the 2017 Sun Bowl Andeavor College All-America Golf Classic starting Monday.

The event will take place Monday and Tuesday at the El Paso Country Club in El Paso, Texas. Monday will feature 36 holes before the final round takes place on Tuesday.

Dalke, Hale and Hirschman will all compete in a field of 31 of the country’s best collegiate golfers. All three earned a spot in the tournament after being named Division I PING All-American honorable mention selections a year ago.

Dalke, who earned four top-10 finishes during the fall, led the Sooners with a 69.85 stroke average and carded eight rounds in the 60s. Hale carded a season-best finish at the Nike Golf Collegiate Invitational in early October, tying for seventh place to help the Sooners win the event. Hirschman picked up three top-10 finishes during the fall season and tied for second during the stroke play portion of the East Lake Cup.

The event started Sunday with the Titlest long drive and the PING putting contest. Hale and Hirschman tied for fourth in the putting competition, while Dalke was 12th in the longest drive contest.

Monday’s first round gets underway at 8 a.m. CT with the second round to follow in the afternoon. Tuesday’s final round will also start at 8 a.m. CT.

More information about the event can be found on the All-America Golf Classic website.
