The defending national champion Oklahoma women’s gymnastics team is hosting its fourth annual “Sooners Night In” this December, providing local kids with the opportunity to hang out with the Sooners while their families enjoy an extra night for holiday shopping or a night out on the town.

WHO: Local Kids and OU Women's Gymnastics

Oklahoma women's gymnastics invites parents and families in Norman and the Oklahoma City metro area to bring their children to this event. Children ages 5-14 are eligible to attend.

The OU women's gymnastics program is one of the nation's powerhouses in the sport, boasting the 2014, 2016 and 2017 NCAA titles alongside 15 conference championships and 116 All-Americans. 

WHAT: Sooners Night In

Hosted by the Oklahoma gymnastics team, Sooners Night In is a fun event for local kids! Parents and families can drop off their children for a night full of entertainment with the Sooners. Activities for the evening will include:

  • A visit from and photo opportunity with Mr. and Mrs. Claus
  • Open gym for supervised fun on the gymnastics equipment
  • Choreographed games and activities
  • Holiday movies throughout the evening
  • Holiday arts and crafts
  • Dinner from Pizza Hut
  • Medical staff present throughout the night

WHEN: Saturday, Dec. 9, from 5 - 9 p.m.

Drop-off for the event will begin at 5:00 p.m., and children may be picked up at any point prior to 9:00 p.m. Families may drop off their children and then enjoy several hours to complete holiday shopping or have a night out.

WHERE: The Sam Viersen Gymnastics Center

The Sam Viersen Gymnastics Center is located in Norman north of the Lloyd Noble Center by the intersection of S. Jenkins Ave. and Imhoff Ave. Parking is available across the street at the Lloyd Noble Center.



A waiver for each child must also be completed and brought to the event. Please CLICK HERE to download the waiver.

The cost for this event is $30 per child and includes dinner and plenty of fun and entertainment. All proceeds go to the Team 10 Booster Club. Payment via cash, check or credit card will be required upon drop-off.
