NORMAN — Career days for sophomore running back Rodney Anderson and freshman wide receiver CeeDee Lamb in Oklahoma's 49-27 win over Texas Tech Saturday have netted the Sooners duo conference accolades, it was announced Monday.

Anderson has been named co-Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week (along with Kansas' Stevens Sims) and Lamb has been tabbed Big 12 Newcomer of the Week. Each honor is the first of their respective careers.

In his first career start, Anderson ran for a career-high 181 yards and a touchdown. All 24 of Anderson's rushes went for positive yards (7.5 average), while 17 went for at least five yards and six went for at least 10. He also returned a kickoff 21 yards to give him a career-high 202 all-purpose yards, the most by a Sooner this season.

Anderson rushed for 132 yards in the second half, helping extend an eight-point halftime lead to the final 22-point margin. He carried nine times for 57 yards on OU's 18-play final drive, which encompassed 11:16 as the Sooners ran out the clock.

Over the last two games, Anderson has rushed 43 times for 328 yards (7.6 per carry) and two TDs. He has 396 all-purpose yards in those outings.

Lamb set school single-game freshman records with nine receptions and 147 receiving yards Saturday. He also tied the OU single-game freshman mark with two touchdown catches.

Lamb's touchdown receptions came from 24 yards out in the first quarter (OU's first points) and from 14 yards out in the third quarter (game's final points). He registered 72 receiving yards in the first half and 75 in the second half.

The game marked the second time this season that Lamb posted multiple TD catches in a contest, making him the first OU freshman to ever accomplish the feat.

Lamb now has 540 receiving yards this season, moving him from eighth to fourth Saturday on OU's freshman receiving list. He passed Tinker Owens (430), Malcom Kelly (471), Antwone Savage (502) and Mark Clayton (524). He needs one touchdown reception to tie teammate Mark Andrews' school record of seven receiving TDs by a freshman.

Up next for No. 8/9 Oklahoma (7-1, 4-1 Big 12) is a Bedlam showdown in Stillwater against No. 11/10 Oklahoma State (7-1, 4-1) on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. CT on FS1.
