NORMAN — Oklahoma cross country opens postseason competition at the Big 12 Cross Country Championship on Saturday at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, Texas.

The Sooners are looking to build upon recent conference championship success. Last year, the OU women placed fourth, marking the best team finish for the women’s program in Big 12 Championship history. Additionally, the men have finished second as a team in two of the past three conference meets.

Most recently, OU concluded the regular season at the Crimson Classic. The women earned eighth, led by top-20 showings from Sarah Scott and Belle Wallace, while the men placed 13th as Liam Meirow claimed 24th.

Results from the Big 12 Championship will be available on SoonerSports.com and Big12Sports.com following the meet. Additionally, FloTrack subscribers can access a live stream of both the men’s and women’s races as well as post-event replays.
