Sooners Prepped for Crimson Classic

NORMAN — The Oklahoma men’s and women’s cross country teams will conclude regular-season competition on Friday at the Crimson Classic, hosted by the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

The event will prove competitive, as the field features 32 men’s teams and 34 women’s teams. A total of 320 men and 341 women are slated to race in the meet.

Most recently, the OU women claimed seventh and the OU men took eighth at the historic Cowboy Jamboree. Sarah Scott and Belle Wallace led the women, placing 14th and 16th, respectively, in team scoring, and Brendan Taylor and Liam Meirow paced the men, crossing the finish line 16th and 19th, respectively.

Results from the Crimson Classic will be available on FloTrack and following the meet.
