NORMAN — Season tickets for Oklahoma men’s and women’s basketball are now on sale.
MEN'S BASKETBALL SEASON TICKETS
Season tickets for the 16-game 2017-18 OU men’s basketball season range from $195 to $550 per seat. For more ticket information or to reserve your seat, contact the OU Athletics Ticket Office by phone at (800) 456-4668 or click here.
Oklahoma is also introducing the Sooner Express Pass, a mobile ticketing option that guarantees a ticket to all 16 home games. Priced at $159, the Sooner Express Pass sends pass holders their seat locations 48 hours prior to each home men's basketball game via an email with the ticket barcodes. Members will receive some of the best seats available for each game, and their seating will vary locations in both the lower and upper levels in numerous sections throughout the season.
OU will host seven non-conference matchups, highlighted by a meeting with 2017 NCAA Tournament participant Northwestern on Dec. 22. In conference play, the Sooners face all nine Big 12 opponents at home – seven of which qualified for the postseason in 2017 – beginning with Oklahoma State on Jan. 3. Lon Kruger’s squad opens its home slate Nov. 8 with an exhibition game against East Central, then takes on Nebraska-Omaha on Nov. 12 in its regular season home opener.
Last season, Oklahoma was paced by will-be sophomore guard Kameron McGusty – a Big 12 honorable mention selection and member of the Big 12 All Newcomer team. McGusty is joined by a returning young core featuring junior guards Christian James and Rashard Odomes, junior forward Jamuni McNeace and senior forward Khadeem Lattin. OU also adds a top-25 recruiting class, highlighted by five star point guard Trae Young from Norman North High School.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL SEASON TICKETS
Fans can purchase season tickets for the entire 2017-18 Oklahoma women’s basketball home slate for just $120. Season tickets for seniors (55+) as well as children (ages 3-18) are available for as little as $75.
The Sooners will play 16 home games at the Lloyd Noble Center this year. Along with its two exhibition matchups, OU will host five non-conference games at Lloyd Noble Center this season, including NCAA Tournament participants Belmont and USF. Big 12 play begins on Dec. 28 as the Sooners take on Texas at home.
OU returns 2017 All-Big 12 selections Maddie Manning, Gabbi Ortiz and Vionise Pierre-Louis from last year’s squad that appeared in the program’s 18th consecutive NCAA Tournament. The Sooners' top-20 recruiting class of Ana Llanusa, Shaina Pellington and Mandy Simpson looks to make an immediate impact on the court.
Oklahoma is just one of 10 Division I men’s or women’s basketball teams in the nation to make every NCAA Tournament since 2000.
OU and head coach Sherri Coale tip off the season with an exhibition against Central Oklahoma on Nov. 3 before beginning the regular season on Nov. 10 by taking on Belmont.
