NORMAN – The third annual Stone Family Cup, which was originally set to be held on the Verdigris River on April 29, has been moved to the Oklahoma River in Oklahoma City due to unsafe water conditions in Tulsa. The regatta will still be held on April 29.

The Sooners will face off with the Tulsa Golden Hurricane in five scored races. The schedule of events will be determined and released at a later date.

Last season, the Sooners topped Tulsa, taking four of five races from the Golden Hurricane to win their second consecutive Stone Family Cup.

The event is free to the public and marks the final regatta of OU’s regular season.

Results and updates will be available on Twitter at @OU_Rowing.
