ST. LOUIS – The No. 18 Oklahoma wrestling team takes eight competitors to the 2017 NCAA Championships, set for March 16-18 inside the Scottrade Center.
Redshirt freshman Christian Moody (125 pounds), junior Mike Longo (141 pounds), sophomore Davion Jeffries (149 pounds), redshirt senior Clark Glass (157 pounds), junior Yoanse Mejias (165 pounds), redshirt senior Matt Reed (174 pounds), redshirt senior Brad Johnson (197 pounds) and redshirt senior Ross Larson (285 pounds) will represent the Sooners in St. Louis. Two of OU’s eight wrestlers were awarded a national seed, including No. 11 Jeffries and No. 12 Glass.
Larson is making his fourth consecutive trip to the national tournament, while Glass, Reed and Longo are set for their third appearance. Jeffries will compete for the second time, and Moody, Mejias and Johnson will make their NCAA Championships debut.

The first session of the 2017 NCAA Championships is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. CT on Thursday, March 16, with Thursday and Friday’s morning sessions airing live on ESPNU and evening and All-American matches covered on ESPN. ESPN3 will stream every match on every mat throughout the championship.
