NORMAN, Okla. – A Friday night package of tickets for University of Oklahoma baseball home games is now available for $49. The package includes a reserved box seat to each of the Sooners’ home Friday games beginning with a non-conference match-up against Central Connecticut on March 3.
Availability for the package begins on Wednesday, February 8 and ends on Friday, March 3. Additional games included in the package are against Buffalo (3/10), Texas Tech (3/31), Kansas (4/21) and TCU (5/12). The second game of Oklahoma’s series against Texas Tech (4/1) will be included as a bonus game.
A single game box seat costs $12. The total value of the Friday night package is $72; saving fans a total of $33.
Fans can also find the Sooners promotional schedule at SoonerSports.com. A new season sees a “Kids Zone” added at L. Dale Mitchell Park to the left of the main gate on the lawn behind the press box. Weekly specials such as $1 hot dogs on Tuesday and Friday night fireworks return. Family Sundays feature face painters and balloon artists as well as postgame autographs and an opportunity for kids to run the bases.
Various giveaways include mini-bats against Buffalo (3/10), player trading cards against Kansas (4/23) and replica 1951 National Championship hats against TCU (5/12). The team’s third annual “Bark in the Park” game will be held on March 11 during a doubleheader against Buffalo. Oklahoma athletics new concessionaire, Levy, will also host a crawfish boil when the Sooners face Kansas (4/21).
The Sooners will be the home team in this season’s Bedlam Series with game one being played at Tulsa’s ONEOK Field on Thursday, May 18 and the following two games on May 19 and 20 in Oklahoma City at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Tickets for these games will go on sale at a later date.
