NORMAN -- No. 20 Oklahoma won its seventh straight home game with a 78-63 victory over Iowa State Wednesday night at the Lloyd Noble Center.

Maddie Manning led four Sooners in double figures with a game-high 21 points. Peyton Little had 16, Vionise Pierre-Louis 15 and Gabbi Ortiz 14 to round out OU's balanced attack. Gioya Carter was efficient for OU, recording eight points, a team-high six assists along with six rebounds against Iowa State (11-9, 2-7 Big 12).

The Sooners jumped out to a 15-point lead after the first quarter on the strength of the deep ball, as Ortiz hit three treys and Manning, who scored 20-plus points in back-to-back games for the first time in her career, connected on two triples to give the Sooners the early 23-8 advantage.

“I really liked our performance," head coach Sherri Coale said following the win. "I know we had one little cold spot there, but overall, the way we valued the basketball with 17 assists and nine turnovers, the valid scoring, the poise in out attack, I was really pleased."

Ortiz finished tied her season high with four makes from beyond the arc as the Sooners hit five 3-pointers in the opening stanza.

Iowa State chipped into OU's lead over the next two quarters, cutting the difference to 10 at the half and five after three.

Then Little took over, scoring all 16 of her points in the final frame as the Sooners pulled away. Her 16 points in the last 10 minutes ranks as the most ever by the redshirt senior in one quarter.

In the second half, the Sooners posted a .556 shooting percentage (15-of-27) from the floor, while commiting just three turnovers.

OU posted a .500 field goal percentage in the win, knocking down 29-of-58 attempts from the floor. The Sooners hit 10 3-pointers against Iowa State, their most triples against a Big 12 team this season. Iowa State was 24-for-53 (.453) from the field, 7-of-19 (.368) from deep and 8-of-11 (.727)  at the free throw line.

At the free throw line, OU continued its consistent shooting from the charity stripe with a 10-of-11 (.909)  performance against the Cyclones. Over the last three games, OU is 48-of-55 (.872) from the free throw line.

Seanna Johnson led the Cyclones with 17 points, seven rebounds and three assists, while Jadda Buckley added in 15 points.

Oklahoma heads to Waco Sunday for a top-20 matchup with No. 2 Baylor at 5:30 p.m. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
