Coach Info:
Position: Volunteer Assistant

Brock Moreaux enters his first season as a volunteer assistant with the Sooners after joining the staff this past summer.  From New Iberia, La., Moreaux attended McNeese State University, where he received a bachelor’s in business administration in 2013 and a master’s in health promotion in 2015.

During his five-year track and cross country career at McNeese State, Moreaux was a member of the 2012 Southland Conference cross country championship team. On the track, he competed in the steeplechase, where he was named all-conference in the event in 2014 and was the Southland Conference champion in 2015.

While pursuing his master’s degree, he interned with the university’s track and field program, assisting the meet director for all high school and collegiate track and cross country meets.  After graduation, Moreaux spent one year training with the Adidas Team Green, a post-collegiate group located in Texas, before joining the staff at OU.

Moreaux will utilize his collegiate experience primarily to assist coach Kevin Ondrasek with the training and administrative aspects of the cross country team as well as the distance runners when the focus shifts to the track.
