Head coach Bob Stoops invites University of Oklahoma students to participate in OU Football Student Day by attending the team portion of practice at Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium from 5 to 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21. The first 500 students will receive a free hot dog and drink. All remaining hot dogs and drinks will be available for 50 cents, while supplies last.
OU students (with current ID) are invited to attend the final portion of practice on Aug. 21 with gates opening at 5 p.m. For the open portion of practice, Coach Stoops will have an open microphone as he talks through all on-field activities. At the conclusion of practice, students will be invited onto the field to participate in drills, meet and take pictures with student-athletes (no autographs) and have a chance to kick a field goal.
Raffle tickets will be handed out under the west side of stadium beginning at 4 p.m. on OU Football Student Day. Winners will be selected at random to receiving official Oklahoma Football gear including helmets, footballs and jerseys.All students attending the event will have the opportunity to get a group photo with the coaching staff and student-athletes. In addition, all student football and men’s basketball season-ticket holders will be able to pick up their FREE Big 12 Conference T-shirt at the event.
