NORMAN, Okla. – Tickets for Oklahoma’s regular season finale against Oklahoma State are sold out, the OU Athletics Ticket Office has announced.
The May 11 matchup will be the third and final meeting in the Bedlam series for the 2014 season. In addition, the game will be Senior Day for Javen Henson, Destinee Martinez and Brittany Williams. The teams will meet a day earlier in Stillwater for the second game of the series.
The Sooners defeated the Cowgirls, 2-0, earlier this season on April 2. Sophomore Kelsey Stevens fired a six-hit shutout, and Oklahoma native Erin Miller drove in what turned out to be the game-winning run.
Stevens allowed just six hits and two walks while striking out eight. Between the fourth and seventh innings, she retired 10 straight batters. Miller had an RBI single in the fourth inning and junior Shelby Pendley added a solo homer in the sixth for an insurance run.
Tickets are still available for OU’s series this weekend versus Texas Tech. The Sooners host the Red Raiders on Friday at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at noon.
Before facing Texas Tech at home, Oklahoma travels to Arkansas for its final non-conference game of the season this Wednesday. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. with the game airing on Fox Sports Southwest Plus.
