NORMAN, Okla. – Tickets have sold out for the remainder of the softball series between No. 16/12 Oklahoma and Texas at Marita Hynes Stadium.
A limited number of seats may go on sale after first pitch of both Friday and Saturday's games, which start at 6:30 p..m., but that is dependent upon the no-show factor of those already with tickets.
The first 200 fans at Friday's game will receive a free t-shirt, while a fireworks display will follow the game. In addition, the ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by OU women's basketball coach Sherri Coale.
Saturday is Javen Henson Senior Day. The first 250 fans in attendance will receive a poster of Henson. Also, men's basketball coach Lon Kruger will throw out the game's ceremonial first pitch.
Oklahoma took game one of the series Thursday night, winning 4-1 behind home runs from Georgia Casey and Brittany Williams and a three-hitter thrown by Kelsey Stevens.
First place in the Big 12 is on the line in the three-game series. OU holds a 10-1 record in league play, while Texas is close behind at 6-2. Oklahoma is trying to become the first team in Big 12 history to win three straight conference titles.
