• Oklahoma hosted its annual Pack the Place Pink game Wednesday. The game promotes awareness of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund and women’s cancers and celebrates cancer survivors. More than 250 cancer survivors and families were invited to a pre-game reception and honored on the court during pre-game ceremonies.

• Oklahoma was one of three NCAA Division I women’s basketball teams to wear Nike’s ‘Aunt Pearl’ collection for the Play4Kay games. The KD VI Aunt Pearl pays tribute to Kevin Durant’s aunt with a pink floral pattern on the upper and highlights of blue with subtle pearls. The floral motif on the shoe is similar to the pattern on a robe that Aunt Pearl often wore. Adorned with a Kay Yow Cancer Fund logo on the tongue, the special edition shoe raises awareness in the battle against women’s cancers. Proceeds from the shoe will go to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund that was founded in 2007 and an organization in which Nike is a founding partner.

• Oklahoma played without leading scorer Aaryn Ellenberg, who suffered a concussion in the Sooners’ last game Sunday.

• Oklahoma held Texas, the Big 12’s top offensive rebounding team, to just four second-chance points on 10 offensive boards.

• Oklahoma’s 10 turnovers, three of which occured on offensive screens, was its second lowest total of the season behind nine totaled against UT-Arlington on Nov. 20.

• Kaylon Williams (6 points) suffered a knee strain and left the game in the second half.

Morgan Hook
• Hook nearly amassed a triple-double with a team-high 15 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.

• Hook’s nine rebounds were a career high. Her six totaled in the first half alone equaled a season high.

Portia Durrett
• Durrett scored a season-high seven points.

Nicole Kornet
• Kornet has averaged 9.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 50 percent 3-point field goal shooting in OU’s last four games. Kornet scored 1.4 points per game and made one of 11 (.091) 3-point attempts in the previous seven.
