NORMAN, Okla. -- The fourth-ranked Oklahoma wrestling team (6-0, 1-0) faces the No. 17 Iowa State Cyclones (6-1, 1-0) in a Big 12 matchup at 1 p.m. Sunday inside Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa.

Ranked Competitors
The Sooners, who are coming off of a 33-9 win over Wyoming on Thursday night, enter the dual with seven wrestlers ranked in the top 20, according to InterMat's latest poll.

OU's ranked wrestlers include Jarrod Patterson (No. 5 at 125 pounds), Cody Brewer (No. 8 at 133 pounds), Nick Lester (No. 12 at 141 pounds), Kendric Maple (No. 4 at 141 pounds), Andrew Howe (No. 1 at 174 pounds), Travis Rutt (No. 3 at 197 pounds) and Ross Larson (No. 14 in heavyweight).

Iowa State has three competitors in the poll, including Tanner Weatherman (No. 13 at 174 pounds), Boaz Bear (No. 13 at 184 pounds) and Kyven Gadson (No. 2 at 197 pounds).

OU vs. Iowa State Series
Iowa State leads the all-time series 49-38-3. Last season, the two teams split, with the Sooners winning on Jan. 7 19-16 and Iowa State claiming a 38-7 win during the Big 12 Championship. The dual will be OU's first in Ames since Nov. 21, 2011.

Matchup to Watch
The 197-pound bout pits OU's third-ranked Travis Rutt against No. 2 Kyven Gadson of the Cyclones. Rutt, who is competing in his first season with the Sooners after transferring from Wisconsin and redshirting last season, is a perfect 14-0 on the season, including a 6-0 mark in duals. He will look to stop Gadson's 21-match dual win streak, which dates back to Nov. 25, 2012.
