NORMAN, Okla. -- The fourth-ranked University of Oklahoma wrestling team (5-0) will compete in the 32nd annual Cliff Keen Las Vegas Collegiate Invitational Friday, Dec. 6 and Saturday, Dec. 7 inside the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The tournament features a stout field in which 11 of the 33 teams registered are ranked in the latest USA Today/NWCA/AWN Division I Coaches Poll. The Sooners are the highest ranked at No. 4, and other teams in the poll include No. 6 Cornell, No. 8 Ohio State, No. 10 Nebraska, No. 12 Northern Iowa, No. 13 Virginia, No. 14 Virginia Tech, No. 16 Iowa State, No. 19 Purdue, No. 20 Michigan and No. 25 Boise State.

The lineup for the Sooners features redshirt senior Jarrod Patterson (125), redshirt sophomore Cody Brewer (133), redshirt senior Nick Lester (141), redshirt senior Kendric Maple (149), redshirt junior Justin DeAngelis (157), redshirt freshman Clark Glass (165), redshirt senior Andrew Howe (174), freshman Danny Chaid (184), redshirt senior Travis Rutt (197) and redshirt freshman Ross Larson (HWT).

Competition at the event will begin at 11 a.m. CT both Friday and Saturday. Championship finals will begin at 5 p.m. CT Saturday.

OU’s appearance in the tournament is its first since 2010, when it finished in fourth place and took home five individual medals. After the tournament, OU’s next dual is slated for Thursday, Jan. 9, when the Sooners travel to Ames, Iowa, to face conference foe Iowa State.
