Oklahoma donated 100 pairs of youth-sized Nike athletic shoes to UCLA’s for the programs shoe drive for Samaritan’s Feet.
UCLA finished with a 50-29 rebounding advantage and scored 18 second-chance points on 20 offensive rebounds. The Sooners were not credited with an offense rebound in the first half and finished with five total.
Derica Wyatt continued her hot 3-point shooting, coming off the bench in the first half and hitting two straight attempts from beyond the arc. Wyatt finished the game 3-for-3 from beyond the arc and is 11-of-19 this season.
Sooners had one turnover in the first eight minutes, but seven in the final nine minutes of the period, allowing UCLA to cut a 10-point deficit to a 43-43 halftime tie.
Aaryn Ellenberg was 0-for-4 from 3-point range, ending her OU record streak of 27 consecutive games with a 3-pointer.
Nicole Griffin scored a season-high 19 points, two shy of her career best. Grififn was 9-for-11 from the field. OU’s post players scored 35 points, hitting 17 of 21 field goal attempts.
