NORMAN, Okla. - Wednesday night's volleyball match between the University of Oklahoma and Kansas State in Manhattan, Kan. has been postponed. The make-up date for the match is still to be determined.
The No. 25 Sooners (18-4, 6-2 Big 12) were scheduled to play the Wildcats (14-7, 2-6) at 7:00 pm on Wednesday. However, Oklahoma's flight was delayed and ultimately cancelled due to inclement weather which prohibited the arrival of the team's plane.
This weekend, the Sooners are at home for a Top-25 matchup when the host No. 1 and defending National Champion Texas at McCasland Field House on Saturday at 6:30 pm. The match will serve as the team's Pledge for a Cure match to raise awareness for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and money for the Jimmy Everest Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at the Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center.
