Meet Duck Dynasty’s Jep & Jessica at Opener

NORMAN, Okla. – Jep and Jessica Robertson of the hit TV series Duck Dynasty will be in Norman on Saturday, Aug. 31, when the Sooners take the field for their 2013 season opener against Louisiana-Monroe.

The Robertsons will arrive in Norman on game day and will first participate in a private meet and greet at the OU IT Store from 3-4 p.m. Fans can register for a chance to win VIP access to the event by signing up for the Sooner Rewards program. Twenty-five fans and a guest will win this ultra-exclusive opportunity to trade tales with two of cable television’s hottest stars.

Jep and Jessica will then be attending OU Fan Fest as part of the football pregame festivities from 4-5 p.m. at the Hyster Fork Lift interactive for pictures; they will then be at the Sooner Sports Properties Hospitality Village meeting fans from 5-5:30 p.m. The Robertsons will be part of pregame ceremonies on the field as part of the Hyster game sponsor presentation before watching the game from a suite at Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.

Duck Dynasty series follows a family of bearded, Louisiana duck hunters who own a multimillion-dollar duck call business. The show recently kicked off its fourth season on A&E this week, with the 2013 premiere setting a non-fiction, cable TV record with 11.8 million viewers.

Jules Jeptha "Jep" Robertson is the youngest son of Phil and Kay Robertson. He is a cameraman and editor for the family business, including the Duckmen DVD series and the television show, Benelli Presents Duck Commander. Jep and Jessica reside in Louisiana with their four children: Lily, Merritt, Priscilla and River.
