NORMAN, Okla. -- The ESPN DIRECTV Mobile Studio Tour wrapped up its two-week tour of 10 schools with a stop in Norman on Friday to spotlight Oklahoma football. The visit culminated with the live broadcast of College Football Live hosted by Chris Cotter and Robert Smith from Headington Hall on ESPNU.

Throughout the day, various live interviews and segments aired on ESPN’s Sportscenter, including interviews with Director of Athletics Joe Castiglione and head coach Bob Stoops. The ESPN cameras also took a behind-the-scenes look at the Sooners’ preseason camp and mic’d up Stoops during a portion of Oklahoma’s morning practice.

After practice ended, OU players Aaron Colvin, Trey Millard and Brennan Clay visited the College Football Live set. Colvin and Millard were interviewed on Headington Hall’s sixth floor balcony by Smith for the show.

Once that concluded, Clay turned the tables on Smith and interviewed him for SoonerSports.com. In addition to asking about preparing for the season and a possible shot at the NFL, Clay also asked Smith about a career in sports broadcasting and wanted to know his thoughts on former Sooner Adrian Peterson passing Smith .

The players were then given a behind-the-scenes look at the College Football Live bus, which spent the day parked outside Headington Hall at the intersection of Lindsey St. and Jenkins Ave.

The live broadcast of College Football Live mixed in the player and coach interviews with sights from practice, as well as discussion about the Sooners’ quarterback battle and previewed the season to come.
