Oklahoma held its final practice before the Spring Game on Thursday afternoon in Norman.

OU opened its final week of spring football with an afternoon practice on Tuesday. It may be hard to pronounce, but Chuka Ndulue (N-doo-loo-â) is beginning to make a name for himself for the Sooners. After playing in seven games as a redshirt freshman last season, he has taken significant strides this spring and looks to be a regular part of the defensive end rotation in 2012. We caught up with the personable Ndulue after practice Thursday:

WR Jaz Reynolds had a breakout year in 2011 only to have his season cut short due to a scary kidney injury. He is certainly glad to be back on the field this spring and looks forward to getting back out in front of the fans on April 14. The Sooners practiced in front of an audience of 325+ high school coaches from Oklahoma and across the nation Friday afternoon in Norman as OU hosted its annual coaches' clinic. The OU football team takes a break today after two consecutive spring practices but is expected on the field tomorrow for its ninth session and Saturday for a scrimmage.

The Sooners returned to the practice field Tuesday afternoon after an 11-day break. View a photo gallery from today's session and practice video by clicking the links to the right. Following the action, senior linebacker Jaydan Bird and junior running back Roy Finch took time to tell us about their spring breaks and shared their thoughts on the team's progress.
Spring Break comes to an end and the Sooners return to practice this week with sessions scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. OU will conduct its second scrimmage of the spring on Saturday. We'll continue our coverage with photos and video tomorrow.
Spring practice for Oklahoma takes a break as the Sooners don't return to the field until March 27. The OU campus observes Spring Break next week. Oklahoma has nine practice sessions remaining including the annual Spring Game on Saturday, April 14. OU has ramped up the festivities surrounding the game, learn more here.
