NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma's Charlie Roberson and Rick Warren defeated Tennessee's Andy Crews and Peter Handoyo by default in the first round of the doubles consolation bracket at the T. Rowe Price Clay Courts National Tennis Championships in Baltimore County, Md. The duo then advanced to the quarterfinals by winning its second match in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4, over Michigan State's Ken Kigongo and Francisco Trinidad.
Roberson and Warren now own a 2-1 doubles record and return to the courts at 10 a.m. (EDT) on Saturday against James Shortall and Kristopher Stahlberg of Mississippi.
