Men's Tennis Hosts Two Matches This Weekend :: Sooner battle Nebraska Saturday, Texas Tech Sunday. Men's Tennis Hosts Two Matches This Weekend

Senior Rick Warren and the Sooners will host Nebraska and Texas Tech this weekend.

NORMAN, Okla. - The 52nd-ranked Oklahoma men's tennis team (11-9, 0-4) will begin a four-match homestand to close out the regular season when it hosts two matches this weekend at the Westwood Tennis Courts in Norman, Okla. The Sooners are looking for their first conference victory of the season after being edged by Oklahoma State, 4-3, on April 12 in Stillwater.

On Saturday, OU will take on Nebraska (5-8, 0-6). The Huskers will also be looking for their first win in conference play. Nebraska is coming off of a 5-2 loss that came at the hands of Texas Tech on April 9 in Lubbock. NU is the seventh Region V team OU has played this season. The Sooners are 4-3 against regional opponents this season. Match time is set for noon.

The Sooners host 63rd-ranked Texas Tech (8-10, 2-4) on Sunday. With the victory over Nebraska, the Red Raiders broke a three-match losing streak that included losses to Kansas, No. 5 Baylor and No. 9 Texas A&M. That match is also set to begin at noon.
