2000-01: Won a career-high 21 matches before suffering a season-ending rib injury at the Cliff Keen/NWCA National Duals...Claimed the 125-pound title at the Oklahoma Gold Classic, downing teammate Matt Ridings...Defeated Ridings again at the St. Louis Open to claim third place...Defeated No. 16 Matt Brown, 10-1, in the semifinals of the Oklahoma Open...Downed Skylar Holman, 6-2, to win the title at the Oklahoma Open...Blanked third-ranked A.J. Grant of Michigan, 4-0, at the National Duals, after suffering the rib injury...Climbed as high as third in the polls before dropping out due to injury.
