Senior Matt Ridings, OU's lone unbeaten starter this year at 16-0, will lead the Sooners into the Lone Star Duals on Saturday.

NORMAN, Okla. - The Oklahoma wrestling team, fresh off its back-to-back wins on Thursday over Bacone and N.C. State, will compete in the Lone Star Duals in South Grand Prairie, Texas on Saturday. The Sooners (5-1) will face four teams beginning at 10:15 a.m. against Harvard. Following its match with the Crimson, OU will face Navy (12:45 p.m.), Princeton (2:30 p.m.) and Cornell (7:30 p.m.).

The Sooners will travel with a nationally-ranked wrestler at every weight class except two (165 and 285) with three being ranked in the top four (Matt Ridings, Witt Durden and Josh Lambrecht). Ridings, with a record of 16-0, looks to remain the lone Sooner unbeaten on the season. Meanwhile, Jared Frayer with 109 career wins, is one victory away from moving into ninth-place on OU's all-time win list.

Harvard, last year's Eastern and Ivy League Champions, will be competing in its first dual meet of the season and have one of the best wrestlers in the nation at 149, Jesse Jantzen. Jantzen is currently fourth in the nation and has won titles in all three tournaments the Crimson has competed in this year.

Navy is 4-1 on the season and also boasts one of the country's top wrestlers. Mark Conley, at 141, is 21-2 on the year and ranked fourth by both Amateur Wrestling News and Intermat polls.

Princeton (2-6) is led by 174-pounder Greg Parker (No. 11/6) and Cornell, also participating in its first dual action of the year, is paced by No. 8/14 Jim Stanec at 174.

OU's next match be at home against Cal Poly on Sunday, January 13 at 7 p.m.
