The Sooners
Oklahoma, winners of six straight matches, looks to continue that streak with a pair of dual meets against Fresno State and Cal Poly on Sunday, January 13. The Bulldog match will take place at Yukon High School in Yukon, Oklahoma at 1 p.m. while the Sooners will take on the Mustangs at the Howard McCasland Field House at 7 p.m.

OU Sweeps Through The Lone Star duals
The Sooners won all four of their matches at the Lone Star Duals in South Grand Prairie, Texas, last Saturday by a combined 131-30 score. Jared Frayer, Josh Lambrecht, and Doug Cieleski all finished the day 4-0 while Witt Durden and Tom Grossman each won three of three matches to lead to the Sooners to victories over Harvard (33-9), Navy (29-9), Princeton (46-3) and Cornell (23-9). One of the most impressive individual victories was Frayer's 6-2 win over then-fourth-ranked Jesse Jantzen of Harvard.

About Fresno State And Cal Poly
Fresno State (5-1-1) tied its previous match with Boise State, 10-10, Thursday in Fresno. FSU features the nation's top-ranked wrestler at 125 in Stephen Abas, who will likely take on OU's second-ranked (Intermat) Matt Ridings. OU leads the all-time series with Fresno State, 13-5, and won last year's match, 21-16, in Fresno, Calif. Cal Poly (6-3) is coming off a split of a pair of dual meets on Wednesday when it defeated Embry-Riddle (37-4) but lost to Boise State (20-15) after a short rally. The Mustangs are led by Cedric Haymon (No. 5/6 at 141). OU has a commanding series lead, 23-3-2, and defeat the Mustangs, 28-6, last season in San Luis Obispo. Calif.

Riding High
Ridings is OU's lone undefeated starter at 18-0 this year. His 8-6 decision over Travis Lee of Cornell last Saturday helped him set a new career win streak, breaking last year's mark of 17.

The Frayer Watch
Frayer continues to climb OU's all-time chart. Currently, the senior from Clearwater, Fla. is tenth on career win list with 113 and is second in pins (43). Frayer already has nin falls this season to lead the Sooners and needs fifteen falls to tie the all-time record with Dan Chaid (1983-86).

The Other 125 Pounder
The Sooners not only continue to get impressive results from its undefeated starter at 125 (Matt Ridings), but its "backup" as well. Bo Maynes is 13-3 on the year, losing all three matches to Ridings in open tournament championships this year, and has scored bonus points in his last four wins.

Pin Parade
Oklahoma's is well on its way to establishing a new pin record for a single-season. With 55 falls this year, OU is only 27 off the record, set last year (82).

OU Wrestlers Ranked At All 10 weights
OU's team balance is best illustrated by the fact that Sooner wrestlers are ranked in all 10 weight classes in current polls.
