The Sooners
After breezing through its first three dual meets, third-ranked Oklahoma will take on No. 2 Oklahoma State Sunday in Stillwater at 2 p.m. in the first of its two annual dual meets against the Cowboys.

OU Rolls in New Jersey
Oklahoma swept a pair of dual meets last Saturday against Rutgers (38-3) and Rider (36-6) in Pascataway and Lawrenceville, respectively. In the victory over the Scarlet Knights, the Sooners tallied three falls and two major decisions. The only defeat for Oklahoma was at 149. Against Rider, OU was just as dominant, losing just once at 141 via a forfeit. Oklahoma tallied two more falls against the Broncs along with a technical fall and a major decision.

About Oklahoma State
The Cowboys are once again one of the top teams in the country. Like OU, they are in the top four in both major polls and have several wrestlers ranked among the very best in the nation with five wrestlers in the top three. OSU lost its furst dual meet of the season last Sunday against top-ranked Minnesota, 20-12, in Stilwater, Okla.

Frayer Continues Record Pace
Jared Frayer (13-1) is now alone in second place on OU's all-time list for career pins. His pin of Rider's Nick Harrrington gave him 41 for his career, passing Jeff Ballard, and leads the team with seven this season. Frayer's 107 career wins is also two away from 10th-best in school history.

Two No. 1's
Witt Durden and Josh Lambrecht, both undefeated, are ranked number one this weekly by the major wrestling polls. Durden tops the Intermat poll and is second in the Amateur Wrestling News rankings while Lambrecht is No. 1 in both polls. OU now has had three wrestlers ranked No. 1 with Jared Frayer atoning to the top earlier this season.

Hot Streaks
Several Sooners who have quietly put together win streaks include NR/No. 7 Doug Cieleski (eight in a row) and No. 16/12 Melvin Lofton (five).

Strong Start
Despite starting the season later with injury, No. 5/4 Robbie Waller has won all three decisions impressively including a 17-0 techinical fall and an 8-0 decision.

OU Wrestlers Ranked at all 10 Weights
OU's team balance is best illustrated by the fact that Sooner wrestlers are ranked in all 10 weight classes in current polls.
