NORMAN, Okla. - In the first day of its fall season, the University of Oklahoma men's tennis team goes 3-3 in singles action and 2-3 in doubles play at the Oral Roberts Fall Classic in Tulsa. The classic is an individual scoring event for all five teams: Oklahoma, ORU, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Christian and Tulsa.
For Oklahoma, junior Chris Mitchell, freshman Brad Prigmore and Matt Lopez won their singles matches while the duo of junior Tobias Kronlein and Lopez won both their doubles matches to win their flight.
The Sooners resume action at 9 a.m. Saturday with four rounds of singles play.
