• The Preseason Women’s NIT tournament team included Ta’Shia Phillips of Xavier, Sybil Dosty of Arizona State, Ashley Paris of Oklahoma, Courtney Paris of Oklahoma, Rashanda McCants of North Carolina and the tournament MVP was Jessica Breland of North Carolina.

• Three players for Oklahoma recorded double-double’s this afternoon. Amanda Thompson had 14 points and 11 rebounds, Courtney Paris had 15 points and 12 rebounds and Ashley Paris had 20 points and 11 rebounds.

• The Paris twins recorded double-double’s marking the 14th time they have both scored and rebounded in double figures.

• Of North Carolina’s 34 first-half points, 27 came from bench players. A total of 55 of 90 UNC points were scored by bench players.

Ashley Paris

Danielle Robinson
• Robinson lead the team in scoring along with Ashley Paris, scoring 20 points and shooting 7-of-12 from the field and 6-of-6 from the free throw line.
